I originally bought a cheap item (£3 strawberry huler) from Gearbest as a test. It arrived within 2 weeks and is excellent. I’ve gone on to buy several items from them with the most expensive being a £20 android watch. Everything has been good quality and arrived quite fast from China with no problems. I have recommended Gearbest to everyone at work and lots of people use it. I have never heard of any colleagues having a problem.

Had a similar negative experience to others on this site and I think they try and scam you if you don’t pay for order tracking with your shipping.
I ordered some small items from Gearbest and chose standard shipping (with no tracking), which they claim to take 10-25 business days. After about 1.5 months and no delivery, I contacted them via their support page and was asked to check my address (it was correct) and to check at my local post office (which I had done). But they then said I could not lodge a ‘non-receipt’ claim until 60 days had passed.
OK, so after 60 days, I contacted them again via their support page. Again they asked me to check the address and to check at my post office (seems to be their standard reply – it must be the customer’s fault or the post office’s fault – I received this response from them in total 4 different times).
Eventually they offered me two options: a refund to their ‘GB Wallet’ (store credit), or if I agreed to pay more for the shipping with tracking, they would resend it. This is the scam – I don’t believe they ever sent my item, and it’s just a way to charge me more for shipping, making their price about the same as others online. And why would I want to use their GB Wallet to purchase something else from them if the one thing I already ordered didn’t show up? And why should I pay extra for shipping because of their fault?
Luckily I had paid by PayPal, so I then immediately lodged a PayPal dispute and eventually had the money refunded by PayPal (but not before GearBest had again asked me via PayPal to check the shipping address and check at my local post office!). PayPal asked them for proof of shipping and they gave PayPal some fake tracking ID number (which of course didn’t work). So they’ll try lying as well.
Don’t order from these scammers. They’ll take your money and the item won’t arrive, and then they’ll try every way they can to say it’s your fault somehow and to try and extract more money from you to re-ship.
And if you have been caught by them but paid by PayPal, don’t hesitate to lodge a PayPal dispute and keep a record of all your communication with GearBest support.

When I asked them(DHL) why – they told me – sender(GEARBEST.COM) request to return goods back to Singapore!!

Bought a phone from them for $155 and its still great 7 months later. No sluggishness, no reduced battery time (battery time is still about 3 days with moderate use).
Delivery time was 3 weeks with free shipping.
Ps. When buying a phone from china, make sure its frame is metal (titanium preferably) and read reviews for “good build quality” so you dont get a plastic piece of shit.

Hello everyone, i ordered some earphones on 09.12.2015, then got email that my order is shipped on 12.12.2015. From then until now 16.01.2016 my order has not arived. They state that shipping takes 15-25 days, but under shipping informations on their website is stated shiššing takes 25-50 busines days. I never waited so long to get my order. First tracking info showed my order is in singapore, after that no change until yesterday now info states that my order is in Japan!? waiting to be procesed. To me all of this looks like a scam im filling for refund from paypal.
So my conclusion is stay away from this site. Never again.
