This Company is definitely a scam. I ordered two weeks ago and still have not heard or received anything. Also you cannot reach them on the phone or email. Do not order from this company if you’re smart. And that is all.

I ordered 3 pieces of mens clothing-according to THEIR USA size chart. I ordered adult large. I’d be lucky if they fit a cabbage patch kid! NOT TO MENTION they are all made of of material that would be to cheap to use for a paper napkin!
I contacted them about returning, still tagged, unworn, items. They replied with “We are unable to accept returns of personal clothing. AS LONG AS THE ITEMS ARE STILL TAGGED AND UNWORN, THEIR POLICY SAYS THEY WILL.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST RETAILER ON THE INTERNET!! Please don’t buy from them. I bought a $200 item from them on 02/27. They said clearly “ships in 24 hours or less” on the product page, 4 days go by before I email them, they reply “item ships by March 10th”. Nope. Can’t do that. “Please refund”. They send a generic reply “Will refund $10”. OK sure… fine. Thank you! Then on March 10th I get an email “Your item shipment is delayed, will ship by March 31st”. WTF?!?!?! Asked for refund. “Your item has been refunded as a credit to your account to use on our website.” WTF?!?!? Asked them to refund back to my PayPal… “Sure, please allow 30 days for refund”. Dude. I’m really chill but FUCK this shitty ass company. Don’t do business with them. The nice looking website should NOT instill confidence in you, don’t make the same mistake I did. Cheers.

First and last time I uy from these guys. Paid up for expedited shipping and package is, of course, late. It should have arrived by DEC. 28. After complaining, I received a reply that I would receive by Jan 21!! That’s unacceptable. They also agreed to “credit”a portion of my shipping cost back to my account. However, in order to use this credit, I must order goods that are at least double the amount of the credit. Are u kidding me? Like I’m going to do business with a company that promises 8 day shipping then says its going g to take over a month? I don’t think so!

Please don’t waste your time ordering from this company. I am a 40 year old cancer patient. I searched for wigs online and I ordered $200 of wigs and wig products from this site. I was in the hospital for almost 20 days. I wanted to receive my wigs quickly. When I got out of the hospital my wigs still hasnt arrived. I looked on the site and seen that they have canceled my order. They sent a message to my account from light in the box stating they have sent many emails for me to verify payment and address by sending them a light bill. Although this is a very strange request, I would have done it if I had indeed seen an email. I checked my emails daily while I was in the hospital, inbox and spam. After reading reviews, many of the people on here have stated, they lied to them also saying they sent emails but they didnt receive any. The company states I will receive a refund after 7 to 25 business days. This is around the holiday time. I have Christmas shopping and medical bills to worry about. I have read some reviews stating they dont like to give your money back but give credit. I do NOT want any kind of credit, I want my money to go back to my original payment. I will not be doing business with these people after reading these reviews. Many people have stated they have not received refunds. If I dont get my money back, I am going to BBB and the FTC. I do not play about my money. I just want my money back. If I do not get my money back, I will write more reivews expressing that. This is ridiculous. I dont need a generic response, I need my money. I am a divorced cancer patient with four kids. I cant afford to throw away $200 and still have to buy more wigs. I think other cancer patients would like to hear my story. Maybe I should try to go to the news. Taking advantage of cancer patients is not a good look. Or taking advantage of anyone, cancer or not. Their are some really bad reviews on here of your company. This needs to come out. I’m wondering if the company is writing the positive reviews. If I dont receive my money back by February or they send me a credit with this company, I am taking this to an extreme. I am through with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I attempted to purchase twice and had both credit cards that I attempted, but never succeeded, in using call me to let me know that Fraud control alerts had gone off and they could not authorize and recommended I not purchase. The thing is that never happens when purchasing from HomeDepot or Wayfair or any other online up until these rip offs. RUN!!!!

This company is a huge joke! I really wish I would have read all of the horrible reviews people have written about lightinthebox. They tried to reassure me that I waited 21 days because my “dancing shoes” were “custom made” lol huge joke. These shoes are garbage absolutely 100% not wearable. The shoes have a suade/cardboard like sole! I’m afraid to even put my foot in it because they will fall apart. These are play shoes! They have the audacity to write me to make sure the shoes are in good condition with tags etc.When I return them Lol these shoes came together in a plastic sealed bag, no tags, no boxes! On top of that they want to charge me 7.20 for returning them?! That’s extremely funny. You will not receive anymore of my money and these shoes are going where they belong IN THE TRASH!!!!!!! I WOULDN’T EVEN LET A CHILD PLAY WITH THESE. LIGHT IN THE BOX IS A SHAM! To Elizabeth at the top. My Facebook request was very similar to the message you received concerning verification. It doesn’t sound right. Maybe with McAfee Security this will not happen again, if indeed it is a scam artist trying to get your information. I assume FB was not a scam.
I have ordered things a dozen times . It takes a while to get items, but everything has been as
described and shipped as indicated. I always order through Paypal that way things are in their
records and there is payment proof, and no personal info goes to Light in the Box. As long as
things are delivered as ordered I will continue to order from them.
I have purchased ,what was advertised as A “WEB CAM” to use it for SKYPE , according to the add it was supposed to be working camera with USB plug and mike and various tech. details on their WEB SITE.
When “camera” arrived it was without any sort of instructions that would have my computer to
recocnize it in cheap box stating it was a “NOVELTY ITEM” .Even at 7.99 it is an expensive novelty ,and I think ,YES, LIGHT IN THE BOX IS ANOTHER CHINESE SCAM WEB OUTLET.

Never use this site !!! Be careful never buy anything. I have tried to buy above 800€ dress. They immediately deducted the money from credit card, but refused to send the items because of payment verification. I cancelled the order, it is now more then one month. They never returned the money.

Lightinthebox is a scam. A huge scam that can cover their tracks very well. I placed a huge order on some equipment, spent over two hundred dollars. I had to throw away nearly every item. Then when I posted the quality of the products individually. They deleted each of my reviews and did not allow me to review the item again. Do. Not. Buy. From. Them. I didn’t even get some of my items. They said the items shipped seperate.. it was shipped by “nltpost” which isn’t even a real thing. They are thieves and I will do all I can to spread the word and warn people about them.
Totally bogus website. Product never came they took my money. They lie about how to submit trouble tickets to make it seem like a real site.
A scam is a scam. “not as advertised ” is a fucking scam. removing reviews is a scam. not able to work with customer is a scam. if they need improvement then put “shipment may be delayed for approx 2 weeks” due to…. or give a tracking number where it is easily accessed. anything that is shadyis a scam. do not hide this shameful business behind words like “needing to improve”. if a person lie then it is a lie. do they need to improve and stop lying? yes but they still LIE!! my shipment never arrived. been three weeks. do NOT buy from this site.
I ordered £285 worth of shoes, clothes, and luxury coats. First they told me I will receive products with in 3-4 working days and it took 2-3 weeks. And when my stuff arrive for delivery by DHL,I had to pay £85 Custom duties fee which they never tell you about.And Instead I received really cheap cheap fabric that is not suitable to wear at all. They are very misleading on there website, everything on there is not the same product or quality. They are all made badly, Poor quality,Poor sewing,Wrong sizing etc

ShytInTheBox IS a total gook scam! I ordered what they showed, a PS3 controller, over a MONTH ago, it is still NOT here! It doesn’t take that long to fly around the fkn globe 4 times! So where is it? They only gave some BOGUS tracking number that has never worked, their cust serv is by far one of the WORST on the planet out of ANY company! These scam artist chink fks are never going to send me shyt, but they sure greedily took my money really fast! Pay Pal WILL be refunding me ASAP! And watch now, they will come here and give some total BS lip service nonsense, like gooks LOVE to do! Ahhh preeze, No sue, we pay you bahk chop-chop!
